Terms of sale

1. Purpose

These terms govern the styling advice services offered by Lastere Studio ("the studio") on lasterestudio.com. They apply to every order placed on the site. Submitting an application means accepting these terms.

The service is reserved for adults acting in a private capacity.

2. The service

From the application submitted by the client (build, desired style, references, photographs, sizes, budget), the studio composes a lookbook: a selection of outfits detailed piece by piece, with a link to the seller's website for each piece. The service is carried out by the Lastere Studio team.

The studio does not sell the pieces it proposes. Links lead to third-party shops over which the studio has no control. Availability, price, delivery and after-sales service of the pieces are the responsibility of those shops. Over time, a piece may sell out and a link may go inactive.

The lookbook is advice, based on the information provided by the client. The studio does not guarantee the fit of a piece on a person it has not seen.

3. Plans and prices

Three monthly subscriptions are offered: Le Carnet (100 € per month, two outfits per month), L'Atelier (225 € per month, five outfits per month) and Le Vestiaire (320 € per month, eight outfits per month). A one-off order by the outfit, without subscription, is offered from three outfits, at the price shown on the pricing page at the time of ordering.

Prices are in euros, all taxes included. The studio may change them; the applicable price is the one displayed when the application is submitted, and it remains unchanged for the whole duration of a running subscription.

4. Submitting an application and the payment card

Submitting an application is free and does not commit the client. At submission, the client registers a payment card with Stripe. Nothing is charged at that point: the card is used only to pay for the order if the studio accepts the application.

The client may cancel the application at any time as long as the studio has not accepted it. Cancellation is free and removes the application, its photographs and the registered card.

5. Acceptance and payment

The studio reviews each application and normally answers within twenty-four hours. It is free to accept or decline an application; a refusal costs the client nothing and no charge is made.

The studio's acceptance forms the contract. At that moment, the registered card is charged for the first month of the chosen subscription, or for the amount of the one-off order. If the charge fails, the application stays pending and the client is asked to update the card.

For a subscription, the following months are charged on the anniversary date of the acceptance. Each charge entitles the client to a new lookbook for the month. If a charge fails, the month is not opened and no lookbook is composed until payment is settled.

6. Delivery

The lookbook is delivered in the client area, as a page that can be viewed online and, where applicable, as a PDF file. The client is notified in their area. It remains accessible as long as the account exists.

The studio undertakes to deliver each lookbook within a reasonable time after acceptance or after a new month opens. If the studio does not deliver, the corresponding month is fully refunded.

A conversation with the studio is open in the client area. The studio may ask for details there and the client may ask questions.

7. Cancelling a subscription

A subscription may be cancelled at any time, without reason or fee, from the client area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: the current month is delivered, and no further charge is made. Until the period ends, the client may reverse the cancellation.

The studio may also end a subscription, with the same notice, if the client breaches these terms or if the service cannot be provided.

8. Right of withdrawal

The client has fourteen days from the acceptance of the application to withdraw, without giving a reason, by writing to the contact address below.

By submitting an application, the client expressly requests that the service begin upon acceptance, before the end of the withdrawal period. In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised once the lookbook has been delivered. If exercised before delivery, the amount charged is fully refunded.

9. Refunds

If the studio withdraws an application it had accepted, the amount charged for the current month is fully refunded to the card used, and the subscription is stopped. A refund may take a few days to appear on the bank statement, depending on the bank.

Outside the cases provided for in these terms and by law, a delivered month is not refunded.

10. Content provided by the client

The client warrants that the photographs and information provided belong to them or that they are entitled to share them. They are used only to compose the client's lookbook and are neither published nor transferred.

The studio may offer to present the client's lookbook on the site, anonymously, as an example. Such publication only takes place with the client's express prior consent, requested separately, and the client's name never appears.

11. Liability

The studio is bound by an obligation of means. It is not liable for third-party shops, for a piece being unavailable, for a sizing error due to inaccurate information provided by the client, or for a temporary interruption of the site. Its liability, if engaged, is limited to the amount paid by the client for the month concerned.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In case of difficulty, the client first writes to the studio at hello.lasterestudio@gmail.com, which undertakes to answer within one month. The European online dispute resolution platform may also be used. French courts have jurisdiction.
